As the Chief People and Strategy Officer at SYSPRO, Terence is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating the global human resources and business strategy for SYSPRO aimed at driving growth, enabling a high performing organization, and creating an environment where people can thrive.
With exceptional people-management and leadership skills, Terence with the Human Resources team, implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the organizations mission and vision. He is a strategic business advisor regarding organizational and management issues and develops strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the ever-changing human capital needs. Terence provides overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent management, career development, succession planning, training, compensation, and benefits. Terence also heads up SYSPRO education programmes focused on providing skills and training for customers, partners, and employees.
Terence consistently re-aligns the HR function for more efficient and accurate processes. He monitors, analyzes, and identifies strategic needs, gaps, and risks both at HR and commercial level. Terence has extensive experience in improving the organization holistically through sustainable people strategies and firmly believes that HR plays a significant role in the organization to enhance the customer experience. Prior to his role at SYSPRO, he spent nine years at Smollan in various capacities including HR Executive.

Terence holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Stellenbosch and is an advisory council member to the HR Tech Fest Council.
